Meet the Scientists

Craig A. Horswill, PhD

Senior Research Fellow, Gatorade Sports Science Institute

A member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the North American Society for Pediatric Exercise Medicine, Dr. Horswill’s current research interests focus on the effects of dehydration and the diet on human physical performance and well being. Prior to joining GSSI in 1994, Dr. Horswill spent six years as a research scientist in the Division of Nutrition and Endocrinology, Department of Pediatrics, at The Ohio State University and Columbus Children’s Hospital, conducting research on carbohydrate and protein metabolism in children.
