I routinely use insulated water bottles to hold ice water for a variety of workouts, including during sand volleyball. The Overtime bottle from Gatorade kept my water and ice cold for a few hours, and the ice stayed even with refills from a not as cold source. The sand fell off or was easy to brush off. I like the sturdiness of the “handle” portion on the lid and the straw connection felt strong. It fit in my car’s cup holders and didn’t leak when I threw it in my bag.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to cover the mouthpiece from outside germs, sand, dirt, etc.
