I’m not a huge fan of milk or protein shakes and this one does a great job of making a quick, healthy , protein packed meal in the am - and it fills me up and dare I say makes me feel hydrated!

I may not be the target audience for this protein shake because I've never enjoyed the flavor of most on the market, but I was hoping this may be different. Although it was not the worst one I've had, I couldn't say for certain that I would happily purchase this. The packaging was cute and compact, it was easy to twist the cap on and off. The texture was not horrible and chalky, like others I've tried. It was easy to drink and not too thick. The taste, however, was too sickengly sweet for me and had that particular aftertaste so many protein shakes have. My husband thinks it was decent and finished bottle up, but he has a major sweet tooth and is used to protein shakes. I think it's okay for people who accept the classic taste of protein shakes.

The flavor it’s like vanilla ice cream. It’s great for one person to drink. Just put in the fridge so it’s nice in cold. If you would like to you can add ice to a cup to drink it.

The macros in the Muscle Milk Genuine Protein Shake are fantastic. It packs in 26 grams of protein with only 170 calories per bottle. To me, that hits my macros pretty well in terms of calorie to protein ratio. It also only has 3 grams of sugar per bottle. It is decently low in carbs, sitting at 13 grams The shake size is 14 ounces and I felt that it was a good size to keep me full and hydrated after a hard workout. I had this immediately after finishing a weightlifting workout session to help me get some extra protein in right after working out. I stored this in the fridge so it was nice and cold when I had it. The chocolate flavor is lacking in my opinion. It definitely has that chalky kind of aftertaste to it that a lot of protein shakes have. I wish it was a more pure or true chocolate flavor. It is a bit too bland in my opinion and almost watery. I really wanted to like this because of the great macros and nutrition profile for my dietary needs, but the flavor is not my favorite.

Drank this after a workout and it tastes like so many other vanilla protein shake, powder or drink. Kind of chemical-ly and feels like drinking melted cheap vanilla ice cream.

I tried the new formula of Muscle Milk in Vanilla Crème and it was smooth and had a creamy texture and pleasant to drink. I love that this new premade drink has 21g of protein without the chalky taste.

Muscle Milk Chocolate has the protien boost I am looking for and I enjoy the packaging for convenience. I was expecting a bit thicker consistency and was disappointed it was more like water. The flavor was good with just a slight aftertaste for me.

This muscle milk had a nice vanilla flavor that wasn’t too overpowering, and I found that it smells very sweet and wonderful as well. These bottle sizes are convenient for travel or for taking to the gym with you and are definitely worth it if you lead an active lifestyle, there are so many protein options that are gritty or bitter and this one is not gritty or bitter at all, very tasty.
