I've tried many brands and flavors of electrolyte drinks and this one didn't cut it for me. The flavor was good and it tasted good. Tasted more like Gatorade than common electrolyte powder brands. This could be related to the fact this only has 3/5 the sodium contents compared to common electrolyte brands. However, it's Gatorade, so those needing electrolytes understand Gatorade isn't jacked full of sodium. Interesting, the powder has only slightly more sodium than their classic drinks. It has less than their Gatorltye drinks which appear to be more electrolyte-focused. This powder also has about half the vitamins/minerals compared to competitors, yet it's roughly the same price/pack. Anyhow, what made me rate this as poor is the color and consistency the powder creates when it settles. It's nauseating to look at. The powder looks nasty when it settles after being mixed and FLOATS. This can easily be fixed by shaking it before you look at it or drink it.
In short, these packets are good if you're looking for a hydration packet that isn't jam packed with electrolytes, this powder is for you. Just shake or mix it before taking a drink if it's been sitting for awhile.
I will continue drinking these packets but would not go out of my way to get these again. I felt better like how I usually feel after having my daily electrolyte drink after having this. Not the worst but not the best. I'd like to see Gatorade come out with a true electrolyte powder (increasing the ingredients).
