To be honest, I am not usually a fan of low-calorie or artificial sweeteners in my drinks, but with that being said, I was pleasantly surprised at my first sip of the lower sugar Gatorade! To be clear, the bottle does advertise no artificial flavors or sweeteners, which is 100% true reading the ingredient lable. In my opinion, it taste exactly the same as the regular Gatorade. It does have purified Stevia leaf extract in the ingredients, which is an all-natural sweetener, but you would never know that by the taste. There is no aftertaste, the sweetness is not over powering, and if I had to do a blind taste test, I would not be able to tell the difference! I will definitely add this lower sugar Gatorade into my rotation this summer when I need to stay hydrated on those hot sunny days. The first flavor I tried was the fruit punch, and it was delicious! The entire bottle only has 50 calories so it will not put a damper on your day if you’re counting calories.
